Yes, give us a call to book your next appointment. Walk-ins are welcome, but patients are encouraged to book in advance to reduce wait times. Please arrive to your appointment on time, if you are late, it will be considered as a missed appointment and you would have to wait in the queue. Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations.
Does it matter if I don’t have a family doctor?
No, Georgia Medical Clinic is here to serve all patients, out-of-province and foreign visitors. We are here to help you with urgent or chronic care, whether you have a family doctor or not
Does it matter which doctor I see?
At Georgia Medical Clinic we use electronic medical records (EMRs), which are a shared computerized documentation system. Your personal medical history will be accessible by any doctors regardless who you saw last time. We often have the same doctors working the same shifts each week, but schedules can change based on doctor availability.
Do you do referral to a specialists?
Our doctors at Georgia Medical Clinic are able to assess you and refer you to any specialist necessary.
Please keep in mind that all specialists have different wait times. Our team ensures your referral request is sent out to the corresponding specialist as soon as possible, but it can take a while for the specialist to contact you back.
Can I refill my medication by fax or phone?
To ensure proper care of your health, Georgia Medical Clinic does not renew any prescription over the phone or by fax under normal circumstances. (We work collaboratively with our partnered pharmacy to provide continuity of care via virtual visit as needed especially during COVID-19)
